These terms govern your use of 3dvip.org. By browsing the site or downloading anything from it, you accept them. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.
1. What this site is
3DVIP is a free index of 3D models, scenes, textures, materials and scripts for 3ds Max, aimed at designers, architecture students, and visualisation artists.
We do not host the files. Each entry is a description page — preview images, specifications, and a link. The files themselves sit on third-party services such as Google Drive and MEGA, operated by other companies under their own terms. When you download, you leave this site.
2. Licence and permitted use
Material indexed here is made available for personal use, study, and evaluation only. You may open a file, examine how it is built, and use it to practise modelling, lighting, materials, and rendering.
You may not
- Use the material in commercial work, client work, or any project you are paid for, unless you have obtained a licence directly from the copyright holder.
- Resell, rent, sublicense, or otherwise distribute the material, alone or bundled into another product.
- Re-upload it to other libraries, file lockers, torrent sites, or paid download services.
- Claim authorship of a model you did not create.
- Strip, alter, or obscure any author credit, watermark, or licence file included with a download.
- Use automated tools to scrape, mirror, or bulk-download this site.
A model appearing on a free library does not enter the public domain. Rights remain with whoever created it.
3. Third-party material and copyright
Some entries are contributed by users or collected from publicly available sources. 3DVIP does not claim ownership or authorship of the material indexed here, and we cannot independently verify the rights position of every file.
We act on copyright complaints promptly. If you hold rights in material listed here:
- Write to dmca@3dvip.org and we will remove the entry, normally within one business day.
- You do not need to send a formal legal notice to have material taken down. A plain message identifying the page is enough for us to act.
- If you prefer the formal route, the DMCA page sets out exactly what a notice should contain and how counter-notices are handled.
We maintain a record of complaints and removals, and we terminate contributors who repeatedly submit infringing material.
4. No warranty
Everything on this site is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranty of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement.
In particular, we do not warrant that:
- A file will open, or will open without missing textures or errors;
- It will work in your version of 3ds Max, or with your renderer;
- It matches the preview image, or the stated polygon count, file size, or renderer;
- A download link will remain available, or that a third-party host will keep serving it;
- Files are free of viruses or other harmful components.
Scan everything you download. You are responsible for checking any file before opening it on your system.
5. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, 3DVIP, its operator, and anyone involved in running this site shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of — or inability to use — this site or any material obtained through it. This includes, without limitation, loss of data, loss of work, loss of profits, business interruption, hardware or software damage, and claims brought against you by third parties.
This limitation applies regardless of the legal theory on which a claim is based, and applies even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Because nothing on this site is sold, no refund or compensation arises in connection with any file, link, or service described here.
6. Your responsibility
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless 3DVIP and its operator against any claim, demand, loss, liability, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the site or material obtained through it, your breach of these terms, or your infringement of any third-party right.
If you use material from this site in commercial work without a licence from the rights holder, that is your decision and your liability — not ours.
7. Links to other sites
This site links to third-party services for downloads and may link elsewhere for reference. We do not control those sites, do not endorse them, and are not responsible for their content, availability, terms, privacy practices, or anything you obtain from them.
8. Advertising
The site carries advertising to cover hosting costs. Advertisements are supplied by third-party networks; their presence is not an endorsement, and any dealing between you and an advertiser is solely between you and them. See the Advertising page for details.
9. Submissions
If you submit a model, you confirm that you created it or hold the rights to share it, and you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, revocable permission to publish it here, together with preview images and specifications. You keep ownership of your work. You may ask us to remove it at any time and we will do so.
Do not submit material you do not have the right to distribute. Submissions may be edited for title, category, or specification accuracy, and may be declined without explanation.
10. Removal and availability
We may remove any entry, refuse any submission, or restrict access to the site at any time, for any reason, without notice. We may also suspend or discontinue the site entirely. Nothing here creates an obligation to keep any particular file, page, or service available.
11. Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated as the site develops. The version published on this page is the one in force. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
12. Severability
If any provision of these terms is held to be unenforceable, that provision shall be limited or removed to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, where the site is operated. Nothing in these terms limits any right you may have under mandatory consumer-protection law in your own country.
