This page explains what 3dvip.org collects, why, who else receives it, and what you can do about it.
1. Who is responsible
3dvip.org is operated from Vietnam. For questions about this policy or about data held on you, write to contact@3dvip.org.
2. What we collect
Information you provide
If you leave a comment, we store the name, email address, and comment text you submit, along with your IP address and browser identification. If you email us, we keep the message and your address so we can reply and to keep a record of the request.
Information collected automatically
Our server keeps standard request logs: IP address, date and time, page requested, referring page, and browser identification. We use them to find broken pages, measure which models are wanted, and identify abuse such as automated scraping or password-guessing attempts. Logs are kept for a limited period and then deleted.
We also record how many times each download link is followed. This is a counter on the model, not a record of who followed it.
What we do not collect
- No payment details. Nothing on this site is sold.
- No account required. You do not register to download.
- We do not ask for identity documents, addresses, or phone numbers.
3. Cookies
The site itself sets cookies only where something must be remembered: your details if you leave a comment, and your session if you log in as an administrator. Blocking these does not stop you browsing or downloading.
Third parties — advertising and analytics providers — set their own cookies. Those are described below.
4. Advertising and analytics
We show advertising to cover hosting costs, and use analytics to understand which models people look for.
These providers may set cookies or similar identifiers and use them to show you advertising based on your visits to this and other websites. They may combine that with information they already hold about you. We do not control what they collect, and we do not receive their raw data.
You can limit this:
- Opt out of personalised Google advertising through your Google Ads settings.
- Use the industry opt-out pages run by the Digital Advertising Alliance, or the European Interactive Digital Advertising Alliance.
- Block third-party cookies in your browser. Every major browser supports this, and the site works normally with them blocked.
5. Third-party download hosts
Download links lead to services such as Google Drive and MEGA. Once you follow a link you are on their service, under their privacy policy, not ours. We do not receive information about what you download there, and we have no control over what they log.
6. Who we share with
We do not sell personal data and we do not trade it. Data reaches others only in these situations:
- Service providers who run the site — our hosting company, and the advertising and analytics providers described above.
- Copyright complaints. When we receive a DMCA notice, we may pass a copy — including the sender’s contact details, which the law requires the notice to contain — to the person who posted the material. This is set out on the DMCA page.
- Legal obligation. Where we are required to disclose by law, or where it is necessary to establish or defend a legal claim.
7. How long we keep things

8. Your choices
You can ask us what personal data we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Write to contact@3dvip.org and say which you are asking for. Deleting comment data removes the comment itself as well.
Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to object to processing, to request a copy of your data in portable form, or to complain to a data-protection authority.
9. Security
The site is served over HTTPS and we take reasonable measures to protect the information we hold. No website can promise perfect security, and we do not claim to. Do not send us anything sensitive by email — there is no reason for us to need it.
10. Children
This site is aimed at design professionals and students. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, write to us and we will delete it.
11. International visitors
The site is operated from Vietnam and our service providers may process data in other countries. By using the site you understand that your information may be handled outside your own country, where data-protection law may differ.
12. Changes
If this policy changes in a way that affects you, the updated version appears on this page. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
